The Holidays may be over by January 10, 2013, but the WCL-ITILS and WITA are hoping to carry the holiday cheer over to the new year. On the evening of January 10th, WITA (the Washington International Trade Association) will be hosting their festive holiday party. Information is here: http://www.wita.org/en/cev/1488
The party will be at the Dupont Circle Hotel, and all ITILS members are welcome to join. If you're not a member, send an email to myitils@gmail.com, and we'll try to get you in as a guest of one of the members. This is a great opportunity to meet with leaders in the field of international trade law in the Washington area. The event is no charge to student members and their guests, but please register early. Who We Are

The International Trade and Investment Law Society (ITILS) is a group of students at American University's Washington College of Law (WCL) interested in the field of trade and international investment. The society has been active in helping sponsor talks and seminars on trade and cross border investments at WCL for several years. This blog will help showcase these programs and make a more visible communication with trade practitioners and those interested in becoming involved in and understanding the world of trade and investments. The ITILS also helps to sponsor a team of students to participate in a WTO Moot Competition sponsored and developed by the European Law Students Association (ELSA) each year.
